Jamaican track superstar, and world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt purchased a 2010 Nissan GT-R last week. The world record holder in both the 100 and 200 meter events now has the 485+ horsepower Nissan supercar. The GT-R replaces Bolt’s BMW M3 which he flipped on a toll road earlier this year. After picking up his GT-R, Bolt challenged former record holder Asafa Powell to a race at a local track. Powell has the new Mercedes AMG C63 Black Edition, and is one of the few cars in the GT-R’s performance class (however the Mercedes costs over $210,000 more). I’ll update the results when and if a race occurs.
