2010 Nissan Armada Platinum
Interested in the 2010 Nissan Armada, but just don’t quite understand the differences between the Titanium and the Platinum editions? No problem! No more headaches, let’s simplify the two. For starters, the Titanium Edition is the “loaded” edition of the Armada and the Platinum Edition is the “REALLY loaded” edition of the Armada.
Power
The 2010 Nissan Armada, both Titanium and Platinum Editions, drives like a sports car due to its 5.6L 32-valve V8 engine with 317 horsepower. This Indy inspired engine has an electronic drive-by-wire system, electronic sequential multi-point fuel injection, a liquid-cooled engine oil cooler, and a heavy-duty battery. All combine to give you instant power, smooth acceleration, and a long engine life. Need to pull a trailer? Both have a Class IV receiver hitch with an hefty towing capacity of 9100lbs.
Opulent Interior
The Titanium and the Platinum comes with leather-appointed interior with contrast stitching on the seats, gearshift, door panels, and steering wheel. Platinum edition adds on the “Platinum” logo embroidered on the front seats, as well as heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Both trim levels have footwell lighting, 8-way power driver’s seat, and 4-way power front passenger’s seat and power adjustable pedals. The Platinum Edition adds automatic entry/exit system with 2-driver memory, remembering exactly how you like your seat. The Platinum Edition also comes with a popular option of 2nd-row captain’s chairs with removable center console.
Technology
Tech Specs for both include Nissan Intelligent Key, allowing for a keyless entry and a convenient keyless ignition; Auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass; Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System with voice recognition. The Bluetooth system allows calls to be transmitted hassle-free via speakers. Also included are the HomeLink Universal Transceivers; Bose premium audio system with 12 speakers and XM Satellite Radio to enjoy countless channels of music, news, sports, etc. The RearView Monitor is standard on both Editions, along with Rear Sonar system. The Platinum Edition adds on Front Sonar System for added safety and reliability, and a Nissan hard Drive Navigation System with a 9.3GB music box to enjoy saved music. The Titanium includes Power 60/40 split fold-flat 3rd-row seatbacks with a manual lifgate; the Platinum adds a power liftgate for effortless convenience. The Platinum Edition comes standard with a Moonroof and a DVD Mobile Entertainment System to enjoy all your favorite movies, while these features are optional on the Titanium Edition.
It looks Great Too!
Focusing on the exterior, both editions come standard with 20-inch wheels and P275/60-20 all-season tires, and fog lights. The Titanium Edition is equipped with aluminum-alloy wheels, while the Platinum edition adds chrome-clad wheels for a sophisticated finish. Both are equipped with a Chrome grille, Chrome exhaust tip finisher, Chrome roof rack crossbars, body-color side molding with a chrome insert strip. The Platinum edition adds a few more amenities such as Power fold-away outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and puddle lights; 3rd-row vent windows.
