The NissanConnect is found on the 2013 Nissan Altima and on the soon to be released 2013 Nissan Sentra. We just added the info to our website at NissanConnect. Check it out. It’s some amazing in-car technology.
One thing we found that’s disappointing is Google’s decision to remove the Google Maps Send to Car feature from their Apple mobile devices. In the past you could look up directions on your iPhone or iPad and send the route into to your “Send to Car” enabled car navigation system. Not anymore.
Apple isn’t innocent in this whole connectivity platform game. Nissan’s text system that allows drivers to text pre-written messages to recipients (“I’m running late” or “Be there in ten minutes”) only works with select Google-based Android phones.
Come on guys, let’s compromise! It will make everyone’s driving a little safer.
