June 2013 Nissan Incentives

Below are the current incentives available to most customers on new Nissan cars, trucks, and SUVs at Victoria Nissan. These incentives are broken into 6 categories and then totaled on the respective model line. Not all of these apply to every transaction but the savings are reflected in our Victoria Nissan discounted online prices.

EA (Equipment Allowance) 

Nissan has lowered the MSRP of selected models so we continue to offer great value. This change took place May 3rd, 2013 and vehicles that were already in our inventory qualify for this equipment allowance. Example – The MSRP on the 2013 Nissan Rogue was lowered by $2,300 on May 3rd. However Victoria Nissan already had a couple dozen in inventory. All the new Nissan Rogues we had at that date have a $2,300 incentive so they will be about the same price as the ones arriving later with the lower MSRP. The prices listed on our website reflect this incentive.

CC (Customer Cash)

All Nissan customers in our area qualify for the Customer Cash incentive when they purchase the corresponding model. In many cases the Customer Cash can be exchanged for a special interest rates. Customer cash does not apply if you decide to lease the vehicle. Most folks call this type of incentive a rebate.

NMAC (Nissan Captive Cash)

Nissan Captive Cash is available when you finance, not lease, the corresponding model through Nissan’s finance company NMAC.  This means you get additional savings just for letting Nissan finance your vehicle. You must qualify for credit approval to get this incentive.

BC (Bonus Cash) 

Found on our last remaining 2012 Nissan Murano. It’s an extra incentive,  in addition the great Customer Cash offer.

VTP (Value Truck Package Cash)

Most of our two wheel drive Nissan Titans qualify for this extra incentive. This incentive is available on 2013 Nissan Titan Crew Cabs with the Value Truck package. This VTP cash lowers the cost of this option package by an additional $1,350. Meaning for $460 you get nearly $4,000 worth of optional equipment. These trucks are great buys and sell quickly.

These incentives expire on June 30, 2013. It’s a great time time buy a new Nissan, and Victoria Nissan is the place to go. How is Sales Tax figured on new vehicle purchases in Texas?

Texas has a 6.25% state sales tax on new and used vehicle purchases. The 6.25% is based on the selling price of the vehicle less any trade-in value.

Example 1: New vehicle without trade-in

$20,000 new Nissan

Your Texas state sales tax is $1,250

Example 2: New vehicle with trade-in

$20,000 new Nissan

$4500 trade in

$15,500 trade difference upon which the sales tax is figured at 6.25%

Your Texas state sales tax is $969, which is 6.25%

In Texas, unlike many other states, you only pay taxes on the trade difference.

Extra $500 Bonus Cash this week from Nissan
